Tom Nook Tom Nook is the raccoon that runs the shop in town. The more you buy from him, the bigger is shop will get. In the beginning of the game, you also have to work for him and do his chores.
Nook isn't a widely popular character, but he truly is number one when your looking for a fair price on anything. He also can pay big bells for turnips, and pays good amounts for insects or fish.
Nook also takes a lot of your bells with the expansions of your home. While he does take his precious time to build, he charges a lot of bells and you are obligated to pay, if you want to expand your house again.
Nook upgrades his store three times - From Nook's Cranny to Nook 'N' Go, from Nook 'N' Go to Nookway, and finally from Nookway to Nookingons, his biggest store with the most furniture.
Timmy and Tommy Timmy and Tommy work for Tom Nook. When you upgrade to Nookingtons, they will be upstairs and will take care of your orders. They can do just about everything Nook can, except they are a lot more annoying doing it.
They both will follow you wherever you go, and will both try to take care of the sale when you decide to buy something. They both take great pride in working for Nook, but they are quite annoying to many.
Postman Pete Postman Pete is the guy that makes sure all of your mail is at your house on time. You can see him come by occasionally and it seems that he has a way with the "ladies" of Animal Crossing.
At 9am and 5pm Pete swings by your place to deliver the mail. You also can see him if you mail five letters at the Post Office. Upon leaving you'll see him take off.
So, if you ever wondered who the mailman in AC was, now you know. He might not be the most active mailman, but Pete gets the job done.
Pelly Pelly is the clerk at the Post Office during the day and into the night. She is nice and does whatever you want her to do with a smile. She has a sister, Phyllis, who works he graveyard shift at the Post Office and it shows.
If you are looking for service with a smile, you'll want to go to the Post Office in the daytime hours, and talk to Pelly.
Phyllis Phyllis is the bird who works the "graveyard" shift at the Post Office. Unlike her sister, Pelly, Phyllis is not very pleasant to talk to. She will always be muttering comments under her breath at you, and hates her job.
She will do everything Pelly does for you at the Post Office, and will be a lot colder while doing it. She obviously hates her job.
Tortimer Tortimer is the old mayor of your Animal Crossing town. Every holiday, by visiting him at the Wishing Well, he will give you a gift. Sometimes this gift is rare and untradeable, and sometimes it is common.
Well, theres not much more to know about your Mayor, but do make sure to collect his rare gifts.
Porter Porter is just that...a Porter! If you ever want to visit a friends town on another memory card, this is the monkey you'll need to see. He'll hook you up with a train headed right towards your friends town (and right back once you're finished), and will be waiting for you when you get off the train.
Redd Well, Crazy Redd is one crazy fox. Have you ever came across a "Black Market" tent in your AC town? Yeah, thats Crazy Redd's "shop". All it really is, though, is a place to go to pay way more money than you should have to for an item.
However, there are Redd exclusives, or items only obtainable through Crazy Redd, and not Tom Nook. You should probably check these items out, too, because some are cool and rare.
Snowman In the winter months in your Animal Crossing town, when the snow has fallen on the ground, you may see snowballs (two per day). If you build the snowman proportionally, he will congratulate you and send you a piece of the rare Snowman set in the mail.
Franklin Every year when the Harvest Festival takes place, there's a Turkey named Franklin on the run. To get the pieces of his Harvest set, go down to the wishing well, steal the fork and knife, and bring it to him. In relief of being saved by you, he'll give you one of the pieces to his exclusive set.
Wisp Wisp is the ghost that appears at night in Animal Crossing - by finding him in one of the acres of your town, he'll ask you to go find five other spirits. Once this task is accomplished, he will reward you with your choice of a new paint color on your roof, a complete town de-weeding, or giving you an item you haven't obtained yet.
Jingle Every Christmas Eve in Animal Crossing the one and only Jingle will be wandering around town looking to give out presents. He, of course, has the pieces of the Jingle set. To obtain pieces of the Jingle set, talk to him a lot, obtain the piece of furniture, leave the acre, change clothes, and repeat until you have his entire set.
Farley Farley is the spirit of the wishing well in your town. The only thing to do that involves him is to speak with him after having fifteen straight days of perfect town status to obtain the indestructible Golden Axe.
Chip Every Sunday in June and November, a fishing tourney is held in your Animal Crossing town by Chip. He gives prizes if you break the record so far for that day, and he'll also mail you a gift if your bass is the biggest at the end of the day. Better watch out though - your neighbors are good fishermen.
Wendell Wendell comes to your town as a special visitor and he's one hungry fellow. By bringing him his "favorite" fish (any fish will do) - you'll be able to get one of his wallpapers. Be sure to do this with all of the players in your town, because these wallpapers are rare!
Saharah Saharah comes to your town wielding rare carpets. To get your hands on one of Saharah's carpets, you must give her a carpet along with a sum of bells (which goes up for every carpet you buy). Once again, try to get all the carpets from her that you can, because they are only obtainable through her and she's only around once in a while.
Blanca Blanca is a cat you can meet on the train while heading to another players town (in the place of Rover). She will come over to you, and you'll probably notice that she has no face! So, after telling her she has no face, she will freak out and have you draw her a new one.
Mr. Resetti This guy is one unpopular mole, let me tell you. Power goes out in your house? He'll be there. Accidentally reset? He'll be there. And he'll let you know exactly how mad he is that you reset your AC:GC. Every knows him. Everyone hates him. Fear the wrath of Mr. Resetti.
Don Resetti The brother of Mr. Resetti, Don Resetti is a lot more mellow when you meet him, which is, unfortunately, only once in a great while.
Blathers Whenever you go to your museum to donate something, this is the owl you talk to. Though squeamish around bugs, Blathers is sure to bring you great details and many thanks about the specimen you donated. Blathers really is a hoot.
Copper & Booker Copper and Booker are the two Police dogs that guard your town around the clock. Copper is in charge of informing you of events that'll be taking place around town (for example, special visitors), and Booker mans the lost and found, where you can take any item that was found.
Sable Sable Able is the Co-Owner of the Able Sisters, which is a pattern shop located next to Nook's store in every AC town. You can design and save patterns there, and leave them on display for all to see.
Sable is the quieter of the two sisters, you can find her sewing in the back. She isn't much of a talker, either.
Mable Mable Able is the Co-Owner of the Able Sisters, which is a pattern shop located next to Nook's store in every AC town. You can design and save patterns there, and leave them on display for all to see.
Shes the one that you'll be talking to when you want to design a pattern.
Kapp'n Ever want to visit your island? After hooking up your GBA, this is the guy you want to talk to. He'll take you for a boat ride to your island and sing you a little sea shanty on the way.
Katrina Katrina is, you guessed it, a special character. She comes to your town every once in a while, and what you'll be buying from her is a fortune telling. She'll give you a weird message but you'll see how it ties in as you play your Animal Crossing game throughout the day.
Gracie Gracie comes to your town every now and then with a dirty car. Gracie is a fashion designer, so if you can get her car squeaky clean she'll hook you up with one of her rare designs - don't blow her off because she is the only person you can get these one-of-a-kind masterpieces from.
Gulliver Ever see that poor bird washed up on your shore? Well, to get a one-of-a-kind item from him, simply talk to him for a little bit and he'll give you a very rare item which can't be obtained anywhere else.
Joan Every Sunday from 6:00AM - 12:00PM, Joan, the turnip trader, will be wandering through your town looking to sell you some turnips. The prices for her turnips vary week-by-week, and so does Nooks. Nook buys turnips, and if you're really lucky, you'll be able to sell the turnips to Nook for eight times what you bought them for!
Jack On Halloween night, you may notice all of your villagers are dressed the same. So how are you supposed to find the king of halloween himself? Easy. All of your villagers will run toward you, but the real Jack won't. Once you find him, give him a piece of candy and he'll give you a piece of the spooky set.
Totakeke (K.K. Slider) Totakeke, otherwise known as K.K. Slider, plays music every Saturday night by the train station. Talk to him with every character to receive some music - put it in the music player of your choice and listen to the awesome song that K.K. gave you!
Rover Rover is the first important person you meet in Animal Crossing. When you get on the train, he will ask you questions that determine how you look, and he'll even hook you up with a house in your new town! Rover definitely is one cool cat. Written By: DL Staff, RedSox04 |
