| DLC [DownLoadable Content] are items that are sent by Nintendo through WFC. There has been a wide variety of items released throughout the 3 main regions. [NA, JAP, PAL] DLC are not in the game itself until you come into contact with someone who has them. All DLC items are able to be reordered in the catalog, unless it is a pattern from Wendell. There has been a widespread of these items all over the world, and they've caused quite a stir. Many people believe that these items are harmful and will prevent you from receiving Nintendo's legit DLC. The truth is the chances are extremely slim, and there has been no harm done and there will most likely never be a problem. But you never know, there's always that small chance. Along with HDLC, there is OHDLC, [Overlapped Hacked DownLoadable Content] which is basically different HDLCs put into the same slot. "Hackers" can pick and choose which OHDLC they want in the corresponding slot, while people who play the game normally are given the first OHDLC they come in contact with. (And no, you cannot change it unless you become a hacker). HDLC and OHDLC are generally the same thing, they are just 2 different terms that make understanding the whole thing easier.
